It is not uncommon for working moms to suffer from depression. In fact, this happens on a regular basis. Depression in working moms is most often times caused by separating from their child after such a long time. Even though you may feel comfortable going back to work, there is a chance that you will get depressed when it comes to leaving your child for the first time.

Other moms face depression because they are not ready to head back to work. In other words, they would rather stay at home with their child for the foreseeable future. And while this is possible for some moms, many of them have to get back to work in order to make money for the family. If you are experiencing this type of depression you should look into all your options including working part-time. Of course, a lot of this depends on how much money you need and the type of job that you have.

Many working moms become depressed for one reason or the next. This can be difficult to deal with, but not impossible. Once you know what is causing your depression you can find a solution that will work for both you and your child.
